Nonostante non vi siano novità evidenti, la Google App Beta per Android si è aggiornata anche questa settimana arrivando così alla versione 8.18. Con quest'ultimo aggiornamento Google ha infatti deciso di lavorare sotto traccia, senza introdurre nuove funzionalità, ma al tempo stesso preparando l'applicazione a supportare un Assistant multilingua ed una modalità Hands-Free.

Come riportano le stringhe presenti all'interno del codice sorgente, la Google App potrebbe presto finalmente includere, così come è stato anticipato a Febbraio nel corso del Google I/O 2018, il supporto multilingua su Assistant consentendo dunque all'utente di interagire con l'applicazione utilizzando/parlando più di una lingua allo stesso tempo.

Per quanto riguarda Hands-Free, invece, si dovrebbe trattare di un'altra funzionalità, tutta da scoprire, che consentirebbe ad Assistant di leggere ad alta voce le notifiche in arrivo.
