Resident Evil 2, Anthem e Spider-Man non conosco rivali e hanno primeggiato ai Game Critics Awards E3 2018: la commissione, composta da ben 51 esperti del settore, ha infatti premiato in varie categorie i migliori titoli mostrati in occasione dell'Expo losangelino.
A vincere il premio più ambito, "Best of Show" è stato l'attesissimo Resident Evil 2 Remake che debutterà il 25 gennaio su PC, PS4 e Xbox One.
Marvel's Spider-Man e Anthem invece sono i due giochi che si sono portati a casa più "statuette" mentre l'acclamato The Last of Us Part II ha ottenuto ben due "elogi" in ambito comparto grafico e sonoro. Cyberpunk 2077 di CD Projekt Red, oltre ad un riconoscimento per l'aspetto visivo, ha ottenuto anche quello dedicato all'Innovazione.
